So disappointing

Got back yesterday from 4 night to Bermuda. Food was dreadful in MDR Marco polo. Onion soup was dirty dishwater like shrimp co*cktail had 3 less than medium shrimp. We normally love Carnival cruises but were a bit disappointed with this ship in particular. My 81 year old dad always cruises with us and usually has a scooter on the ship as he has a bad back and leg. Parts of the ship are not handicapped accessible as other ships are. My wife and I (70's), but very active, had a balcony cabin on the 6th deck AFT. Great cabin, great location, near showroom and just below the spa and serenity (adults) deck. We did have to walk for all food service, but that was fine, did I mention we are very active.The weather did not cooperate. Rained 7 0f the 10 days, but all ports were visited, and all onboard activities continued.

A nice cruise, lovely ship but let down by the food. This was our 60th plus cruise, seen a lot of changes over the years. OK prices are cheaper now than 25 years ago but I expect a certain level of service. Main dining room was a real let down, not the staff, they were all amazing, but because of the reduced level of staff most of the food was cold reaching our table, such a shame.Bar

We just finished our 24th Carnival cruise. It was our first on the Venezia and first time out of NYC. We drove down from Canada and stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites in North Bergen, NJ. We used their Park and Cruise package and we were shuttled to Pier 88. We found the ship very nice, the food was great in all venues.
