    $AAPL last 3 years.

    Price to Book Value +421.1%

    Price to Sales +125.2%

    Return on Equity +98.69%

    Price to Free-Cash-Flow +87.55%

    Return on Invested Capital +51.35%

    EPS +33.91%

    Return on Assets +26.83%

    Repurchase of Capital Stock +24.22%

    Cash Flow from Operations +20.72%

    Net Income +13.92%

    Shares Outstanding -14.61%

It is important to understand the numbers and what they tell us about the business. Price to Book Value has increased 421.1%. Why? It’s because when companies repurchase, cash leaves the balance sheet to acquire the shares – this decreases assets and shareholder’s equity. However, the benefits of repurchases can be found on the income statement, where EPS outpaces net income.

ROA tells us that the business is producing high returns based on the total assets it controls, not just relative to equity. Return on equity is skewed higher when companies use leverage, and also when they repurchase, because net income is measured against a smaller denominator. Always look at cash flow and earnings from different dimensions before making investment decisions.

Katy Huberty of Morgan Stanley keynote address says APPL push into healthcare in ways of monthly subscription plans and having access of medical records/info through their service. Morgan Stanley is Very Bullish since healthcare is a GIANT Business. That would be some new revenue stream.

Why does APPL need need to get
in to a new businesses which is a
highly competitive, and challenging enterprise and compete with the likes of Toyota, GM, Ford,Tesla and a hundred others when they can concentrate on audio/video, drivability controls and drivetrain management systems and have all the other manufacturers as customers and not competitors?
    Computers, communications, IT
is APPL domain and they should stick to it instead of venturing of in to new frontiers with new partners.

While I don't mind when the stock goes on a discount, what irritates me is when these seemingly random articles come out with no credible evidence or sources. What's preventing some hedge fund manager (let's say they had Apple puts) from calling the WSJ tomorrow to report a fake news story saying that the Apple Car has been rumored to be "canceled"? Sure, you'd think journalistic integrity and professionalism are held up to high standards to prevent things like this but you have to question the timing of this Bloomberg article. If you walk into any Apple store all you see is a line of people and if you order the iPhone online it's on backorder. That's all the evidence that I need to make my decision. I will keep accumulating. If the Apple suppliers were really cutting back on iPhone component deliveries due to slowing demand would they really have contacted a news media about it?

No retail investor is buying Apple for a 21 cent dividend UNLESS he holds a huge position. You are buying for stock price appreciation, not dividend.

Amit Daryanani note to clients: “App Store revenue grew 30% in February, another strong month in what has been a great 6 months for the App Store. We estimate total App Store developer revenue grew to $4.4bn in February; up 30% Y/Y (vs. +40% in January, +31% in December). The growth in App Store revenue remains relatively broad based, with all categories reporting impressive growth with the exception of Music (+10%).
The App Store is only one piece of the services business, but with QTD growth at 35%, we see an increasing likelihood of upside to consensus estimates. The Entertainment segment (41%) remains the best performing segment, likely driven by tailwinds related to numerous streaming service launches. China remains the slowest growing of the major Geo’s with revenue +24%; however, it is still well above the single digit growth rate reported for much of 2020. The solid growth in China also comes despite a difficult comp (lapping COVID tailwinds) and the 24% rate is an improvement vs. the 20% in January.
Net/Net: We think growth 20%+ is looking increasingly likely.
Maintains Outperform rating and $163 price target.

Been holding Apple since iPhone announcement in 2007
Now at 4,874% return on my investment -Not too bad. Will continue to hold at least 10 more years and sleep very well at night not worrying about day to day price changes. Apple is a long term play folks so quit worrying about day to day price changes.

    I believe $AAPL is worth $250 +

Folks, it’s all free cash flow derived from operating income. It’s not asset sales, it’s not unrealized marked-to-market gains on the balance sheet, it’s not bolt-on acquisitions; it’s a high margin, free-cash-flow-generating machine with exceptional governance.

The cash flow statement tells you everything you need to know. Shout out to the folks that appreciate the perfection of the business vs. the appreciation of the share price.

As I know during the pandemic, the Apple store was the only store has lot of customers lining up to get in every time when I walk passed. It is about the brand, the supporters. Unless there is another brand surpass the Apple and some really bad news that hurt the Apple image. Otherwise, Apple stock is very safe to keep. I don't ever listened to the what they called themselves :" Annalists ". The most important is the Apple has a very solid finance foundation.

    I want your opinion.

I'm 32... I currently have 835 shares of Apple. I've owned it since 2010. I have around 130K in Cash and 150K in Apple Stock. My mortgage is currently 1300 a month and I owe 147K. Around 700 a month is going to interest. I have a limit order to sell half my AAPL at 199. I was going to use those funds to pay the mortgage. I was then going to go 15% 401K with 6% company match. I love AAPL and believe in it. However, I am also concerned about the market in the next 2-3 years. Anyway, I know you are all not advisors... I was just curious your thoughts..

Today is all about the Heart Rhythm Sensor. Everybody has been waiting for years for the next big thing.......If Cook talks about it tomorrow, Apple could jump 10 points. He may not. He may not be ready to. You need to understand how massive the Healthcare Sector is and how this technology can impact healthcare in the same way the I-Phone impacted telecommunications. It really is another area of endless possibilities......and Apple is 2 years ahead of anybody else. Apple owns this. It’s Brilliant.

"Buffett explained that he loves Apple as an investment due to the power of its brand and ecosystem, not its short-term financial results.

"I do not focus on the sales in the next quarter or the next year," he said. "I focus on the ... hundreds, hundreds, hundreds millions of people who practically live their lives by it [iPhone]."

He also called the iPhone "enormously underpriced," saying that it's worth far more than the $1,000 Apple charges"

Somehow I have a hard time selling a company that has $84B in revenue in 1 quarter with an over 38% profit margin and oodles of cash. Just saying.
